    1. What is a cataract? A cataract is a clouding of the lens inside the eye that is associated with aging, diabetes, steroid use, tobacco use.
    2. What are symptoms of a cataract? Blurred vision, difficulty from glare at night, halos around lights at night.
    3. How are cataracts treated? There is no medical treatment of cataracts. Initially cataracts are observed and glasses are updated. Once the cataracts are affecting daily activities surgery is recommended.
    4. Does cataract surgery hurt? In most cases, cataract surgery is a painless procedure.
    5. When can I use my eye after cataract surgery? In most cases you are using the eye either the day of or the day after the surgery.
